The meeting point for all our tours is in the South East corner of the British Museum’s Great Court, at the statue of a ‘boy on a horse’, near the Information Desk. Our guide(s) wear a blue lanyard with a Bible Tours badge.
We are now advising all our visitors to avoid standing in the long queue outside the front of the Museum. Instead, walk around to the back of the museum (Montagu Place, WC1E 7JW) as there is generally a smaller queue. Please be sure that your smartphone is working, so we can contact you if necessary. We will only reply to overseas numbers using WhatsApp or email.
The museum is open at 9am (lobby & WC only); the galleries open at 10am. Please allow at least one hour to walk from the nearest tube station and through security at either the front or back entrance.
