Cozy Furnished Jungle Rental

Short term or long term stays are welcome. $150 USD per week or $500 USD for the month.

Our place has an awesome view. Morning sounds of green parrots flying overhead. Nighttime with bright stars overhead and nighttime sounds of frogs.

It is completely furnished; One bedroom with a combined kitchenette area. Fridge, stove top, AC, internet and washing machine all included.

Our spot is off the grid and eco-friendly. We use solar power and filtered rain water.

The space has a large private deck with a gorgeous view overlooking a mountain valley. There is a farm right below us that makes and sells yogurt, cinnamon rolls, bread, jelly and fresh cheese.

We are 10-15 minute walk from Santa Elena town and 20 minutes to San Ignacio. Walking up and down our hill will be for the steady on their feet, it is fairly steep. Taxis here are $2.50 for a short trip and a little more to go farther.

There is a local bus that passes by our road every hour, which only costs $1.50 USD. Also a local shuttle bus goes from Santa Elena to the nearby town San Antonio, about every half hour and costs the same.

Although much adventure is easily available, accessible and affordable from this location, what I especially loved about staying here was the peacefulness of the mountain and valley view off the large private deck. I could hardly wait for morning light, enjoying the view, sounds of doves, other birds,, and even an occasional cow in the valley below.

The accommodation is new and very thoughtfully designed for comfort and whatever guests might need. A coffee pot, dishes, utensils, microwave and refrigerator are there to use. There are several spaces to hang clothing, and a well designed bathroom with a shower., The A/C and ceiling fan, make for comfortable sleeping and a welcome break from heat., if needed. There is WIFI, and a warm welcoming atmosphere at this jungle rental.

The owners are very familiar with interesting activities and wonderful places to eat in a variety of price ranges to suit any budget.
